The main feeding issue is dealing with a rather ferocious let down which he really struggles with - and his latch tends to be a bit shallow at times too so he's getting too much air with his milk and getting wind, plus I'm getting sore when he's feeding constantly. On Monday they noticed he does have a tiny tongue tie - he can stick his tongue out but it's very slightly limited in motion. No idea if it's worth trying to get a referral for getting it snipped since we can mostly manage and some feeds are fine.

But for example we were feeding from 1:50 to 3:10 with lots of popping off and screaming from him and refusing to take the nipple again without some cuddling to calm him down with lots of tears from me. It's hard when I don't get a break of more than 30 minutes in the evening too when i've had him all day. And I know it's absolutely not something you were suggesting but it does feel like if I can't cope yet I must be doing it wrong :/

As for the sleep I need to be able to put him down in a non-moving pram at some point so *I* can get some sleep more than anything else. I think it would be more restful for all of us if he were happy to sleep in the crib at night too - rather than only on us.
