Ta for the suggestions - the car definitely does make a difference I think. But hey, at least it means we can just use the car seat from mum and dad when we do rarely need one and not care that it doesn't fit on the pushchair :) We might well pick something very little and lightweight and folding as an addition later, but it's probably not worth it for now.
