I don't like nasal sprays, they thin the lining of the sinuses if over-used and can lead to nosebleeds, plus they're habit forming, and people often find they're stuffed up again if they try and stop using them.

The snot stops eventually anyway, and dozing upright in a chair with my feet on the sofa seemed to shut the stomach up.
