Ah, that's interesting. I re-read them recently, and again it was in the middle of book 6 that I gave up with no inclination to read book 7.

I just gave up caring about any of the characters after they've spent a few hundred pages doing very little. Jordan just doesn't seem to be the sort of writer that is interesting unless there's lots of stuff happening.
