So, we have the measurements (81cm x 48.5 cm) and have measured the gap - the piece of marble on which it will sit is 80 x 47 cm, but it should be OK to overhang a little, and there's certainly space for it to do so. Anyone know of any good reasons why we shouldn't buy this telly. Getting one which is about as big as will fit seems like a good plan to me.
